Are you familiar with the standard set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and its applications in single-family real estate appraisals? If not, or if you need a refresher, this course has you covered.

This course will give attendees a comprehensive review of the ANSI measuring standard—with illustrations and examples—and the nuances therein, e.g., stairways, ceiling heights, fireplaces, below-grade square footage, etc. It will also give an overview of on-site inspections and minimum property requirements for agencies such as Fannie Mae, FHA, VA and USDA.

Other topics covered include the American Measurement Standard, architectural styles, issues and conditions that impact value and USPAP-compliant discussions with owners. Lunch will be provided to attendees.
